I haven't been uploading pictures of myself and my kids all bcos of a sicko out there.

Anyway, this entry will make her more jealous la... cos I'm artistically inclined... wahahahaha...

Here's some layouts I did while on maternity leave.

First Ashton's layout... and more to come
"Truely Fruity Fruity" with the Truly spelled wrongly...
But can't do anything with it cos I've glued it with my glossy accents (damn good adhesive).
This layout was done by my remaining papers.
I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Lovezzzz
I like this title...
"Just hanging around"
How appropriate!
This layout turned out okie bcos of the paper I used.
I like this pic so must do a layout for it... anyhow did this in one hour time.
I love this! Always wanted to do a STAR layout. Here it is.
I like this too. First time I use Hamblys.
I haven't finished this layout... wanted to add more words to the title but simply too lazy...
I used my long forgotten ribbons in this layout...
A new attempt for me.

End of entry. Hope you like it.

Some things happening around me which prompted me to post another blog entry in just a day's time.

To start off this entry, I have to quote examples and one classic example would be... MY BLOG!!!

As you all know, my blog was visited by some sicko who used different nicks to defame me and my loved ones sometime back.

Trying to be Miss Nicey, I ignored all the comments left. BUT my good intention was appreciated by that Little Miss Pea-Brainy in the wrong way. Thinking that I'm just someone who can be easily pushed over, she daringly posted more abusive comments on my blog.

Everything has its limit and lao niang's limit has far exceeded the tolerable level. In case you dunno, when lao niang's volcano decides to erupt, its lava can kill.

I dun have to continue the story because all of you know what happened next.

After my retaliation, Little Miss Pea-Brainy decided to back off and vanish into the thin air. There was nothing from this person since then.

*shrug*

So what's that supposed to mean?

Must be fierce then ppl scare la???
No fierce cannot la???
"Tan Per Tia" la (Skin want to feel pain - in Hokkien)???

The thing is... if I have provoked you in any ways or you buay siong me for whatever reasons, you can come and tell me face to face. We are born with a mouth not only to eat but to talk and communicate as well. Making yourself anonymous, hurling abuses at my loved ones just proves you are one jackass coward who only dares to do things behind your computer screen.

But worry not! You are not the only one.

Recently, someone by the name of Wood Marvin sent me a facebook friend request. Shortly after I approved the friend request, she wrote something like "So you know the bitch?? Why dun call and ask her to go die with her newborn son?" on my wall.

I was full of question marks, exclamation marks and whatever you have la... I tell you. For a split second, I thought this person was referring to Little Miss Pea-Brainy. But quite impossible la... how can my Little Miss Pea-Brainy has a kid of her own???

So I replied "Eh, who are you talking about ar?"

Thereafter, I clicked to check out the profile.

To my utmost surprise, this person had been making terrible comments about one of my friend. Apparently, this sicko set up the facebook account just to defame my friend. In order to get her message across to as many people as she could, she searched for all my friend's friends via facebook and leaves nonsensical comments on their walls.

Because I replied to her thread previously (stupid me), she replied me by leaving a link showing my friend's FB account.

I've heard a bit of happenings about this friend of mine and I decided to back away from this (since it's no business of mine). So I ignored the link sent.

Shortly, this Wood Marvin wrote on my wall again. This time, it said "So you know that bitch?"
Again, I ignored.

Then, she once again vandalised my wall by saying "Don't you know all her friends will be cursed as well?"

And that's when I started thinking if I should reply. Based on my previous experience, ignoring ain't a solution and so I replied.

I couldn't recall my exact wordings to her but my main point was asking her to fuck off la. What damn shyt was that to set up a fake account just to attack the friends of your enemy??? If she really that buay siong with my friend, go find her directly la. Siao eh...

I used some bombastic words to reply her cos I know her English damn bad la... so scare her a bit here and there ma...

GUESS WHAT???

Approximately half an hour after my reply, she deleted her fake FB account away!

DUH!?!?!? *eyes roll*

These are just two examples of cyber bullying.

I have more actually especially on road bullies but I lazy to elaborate further.

My point is...

Why is our world becoming so sick???
Why must we be fierce then ppl will start to leave us alone???
Ain't it supposed to be like respect others to gain respect???
Where's the care and share spirit???

So how am I supposed to teach my kids??? To be nice or to be fierce??? I think fierce better la... bully people rather than get bullied... wahahaha...

My country, my home

This entry is all about how our Government "Soot" monies from its own citizens... that's how I like to phrase it... :)

Dun get me wrong okie... I LOVE Singapore... especially during the month of August.

There are many other things I love about Singapore.
  1. I LOVE its tranquility (though it's slowly fading away cos of the many many many MIC people coming in - nvm that cos I think this is the case everywhere)

  2. I LOVE the food here (though some nothing-to-do people wants to set claims on some of the food we have here)

  3. I LOVE the safety (Still quite safe at the moment except for some fightings here and there... hiyahz... which country dun fight???)
And many many others....

However, there are times when the Government makes me pissed la... one of which is... our extremely high-priced HDB flats...

The flats are getting smaller but the price is getting higher... and our MPs have the cheeks to say Singaporeans (somemore can state - YOUNG COUPLES) can still well afford to stay in a HDB flat!!!

Arghh...

Of course they can afford la. Based on your whatever statistics, your sales of HDB flats is still going strong what... but what you dunno is how hard a lot of people are trying to make ends meet.

Apa young couple can afford??? Yes they can... but please go and take a look at the loan figure 10 years ago and compare it with the figures today before you make such comments so easily.

Dear Mr million-earning ministers, you must remember leh... your CPF contribution rate has not gone up to the previous 40% for dunno how many donkey years liao... and your CPF interest rates ain't as good as before leh... so it's not easy for your young couple to maintain a simple 4-room flat okie??? A lot of them are topping up their monthly housing instalments by cash okie... in another words, their CPF OA contributions are totally swiped out every month hor... so their OA is actually one big fat ZERO... KOSONG!!!

If the young couple continues to secure a job, yes I agree they can afford to pay for their housing loan... but can you guarantee that ALL young couples will not get retrenched??? And can you guarantee that all of them have the discipline to save while they have a job???

Really Ki Siao lo... one HDB flat costs half a million!!! How to buy you tell me, Mr Minister???

You want us to give birth la, take care of our own parents la, this la, that la... and you are killing us with your "sooting" monies policies. I super wonder how an average earning young couple pays for a half a million property?? This couple seriously cannot give birth la, I tell you... your whatever bonus also no use la... keep it for yourself. Thank you very much.

Enough said about HDB prices. I want to talk about something that I've read in the news recently. Even though it doesn't impact me, I would like to use it as another example on how our boss "soots" monies from us.

You know those 7-month singers right??? IRAS actually wants these singers to declare their angbao intakes cos it's TAXABLE!!!

Wow...
Wow... Wow...

Angbao also taxable! Terrible!!!

According to Wikipedia, Angbao aka Red Packet means

"Red envelopes are mainly presented at social and family gatherings such as weddings or on holidays such as the Lunar New Year. The red color of the envelope symbolizes good luck and is supposed to ward off evil spirits.

The amount of money contained in the envelope usually ends with an even digit, in accordance with Chinese beliefs; for instance 88 and 168 are both lucky numbers, as odd-numbered money gifts are traditionally associated with funerals. But there is a widespread tradition that money should not be given in fours, or the number four should not appear in the amount, as the pronunciation of the word "four" resembles that of the word "death", and it signifies bad luck for many Chinese (See Numbers in Chinese culture). At weddings, the amount offered is usually intended to cover the cost of the attendees as well as a goodwill to the newly weds."

I believe these singers demand a pay for their job and that angbaos are just an extra income for them la. The amount inside would depend on how skimpy they dress or how well they sing ba I dunno. But whatever it is... hard work okie... dress skimpy for those lao di go to see... then must sing and dance then got angbao one hor... like these also need to tax???

Tax on their pay okie la... but angbao???? A bit too much right???

Then can I ask questions??? *hand raised*

The angbao we collected from our wedding dinner need to tax anot ar??? And hor... the angbaos I give to my parents and in-laws and the kids every Lunar New Year tax deductible anot huh???

Sibei jialat man...

Here soot, there soot!!!

Jack Neo, you are right man. MONEY NO ENOUGH!!!

P/S: I think Mr Policeman logs on to my blog time and again for investigation but still, I write this kind of stuff... shouldn't be a problem right??? We democratic country wat... :)

Do all celebrities go there and shop???

I have been to Forum Shopping Mall for only about like 5 times in my entire life and out of these 5 times, I've met quite a few celebrities there... the most famous being William So... that fellow who sang those mushy Chinese songs.

He was damn hao lian lor... so serves him right for being not-so-famous now... *or bi good*...

Actually celebrities must be humble wat. So what if they become super popular and famous??? They still have to stay humble cos they must remember... it's people like us who make them famous. If they hao lian and put on a smelly face, no one would ever wanna support them liao. (With the exception of the famous smelly face Faye Wong la)

Like MayDay... so popular yet so humble... no wonder they can survive for so long. Love them!

Anyway, as I was saying... I have met quite a number of celebrities at Forum Shopping Mall.

Just last week, I brought Qi there and guess who we saw???

ZOE TAY lo...

She was standing right in front of me and I did not even realize it until much later. In that split second, my reaction changed from pissed to peace. Why??? Cos she's a celebrity lo... wakakakaka...

Here's the full story.

I didn't brought any biscuit or milk with me for Qi that day. Thinking that she might be hungry, I walked into a shop that sells organic stuff. Browsed through the shelves and decided to buy a packet of biscuit and a small packet of drink for Qi.

Went to the counter for payment but Zoe Tay was 3 seconds ahead of me. She reached the counter before I did. *Note: I din realize it was Zoe Tay then*.

I saw the whole basket of stuff and started having all the "OS-es" within me.
  • Why didn't I walk 4 seconds faster?
  • Why so suay?
  • Wa Lau eh... I only have 2 items but have to wait for so long... cau!
Never mind... Just blame it on my luck.

While the counter girl was scanning her items, Zoe Tay was still happily browsing through the shelves, asking the counter girl if this this this and that that that was nice. She was totally oblivious to me who was just standing there, waiting to pay for my two miserable items.

At the point of time, I still didn't realize it was Zoe Tay. I was busy digging into my big bag for my wallet and she had her cap on. Her voice did not sound the same as on TV actually - not as hoarse. I became "a little" pissed by now.

Fed up, I decided to inject some pressure by staring at her with my pair of big eyes and wahahahaha... that was when I realized the woman in front of me was Zoe Tay.

I tell you.... IMMEDIATELY... immediately wor... I forgot about being pissed. I happily allowed her to take her own sweet time to make payment. She knew she was taking a bit of a time there so she smiled at me before heading for the exit.

See see see... the power of being a celebrity!!!
Or should I say... see see see... the ability of Ah Ting changing mood in a split second... wahahaha.

P/S: Don't attempt to do the same thing Zoe Tay did if you are not a celebrity. Kenna "Hoot" I tell you... :Þ
