The complaint continues...
Wednesday, July 1, 2009

I'm going to continue complaining about the Goldkist Beach Resort.

As if what we had gone through wasn't bad enough, we actually found bees (dead and alive) buzzing in our room the next day we went back. Not one, not two of them but hundreds of bees in our room okie.

It was lucky that I insisted on not staying overnight at that place. Otherwise, my kids and myself would be stung like nobody's business lo...

How the hell those bees get into our unit I do not know.

The windows of our unit were completely shut and never before opened at all from the moment we checked in. The back door was closed 95% of the time (Only opened for my relatives to hang their wet clothing outside). The only door left opened was the front door.

Unless we and our guests are blind, we can definitely spot the bees if they come flying in from the front door.

Our unit was completely emptied by 8pm. At the time, we spotted no bees in our unit. When we went back to check out the next day at around 10.30am, we saw hundreds of them lying on the floor and on the window panes.

Ah Long called up the management and they sent a supervisor to our room. His attitude wasn't bad but he blurted out this sentence which I felt was totally inappropriate.

When we asked him how on earth those bees entered our room, he couldn't give an answer and say that it wasn't their fault. Harlow... excuse me... if it wasn't your fault... then it was my fault la???

Do they even have the basic knowledge that bees can kill???

KNN... If we had stayed there overnight, my QiQi & BB Ashton would have gotten stung lo... so how the hell they are going to compensate me then??? And they said it was not their fault???

I demanded an explanation from them for which the supervisor said they would get back to me the next day. As expected, no reply from them. Very angry. Anyone got any suggestion on how I can get back at them??? I am actually thinking of asking for a refund.

P/S: Something wrong with either the system or my com... can't post pictures of those bees now. I shall post them up later if possible.
