Swimming lesson
Monday, March 23, 2009

There is this baby swimming centre, Hwa Xia, located at several places which allow babies as young as few weeks old to swim. One of which is at HarbourFront Shopping Centre.

It is said to stimulate babies' brains and whatever la... I just find it so cute...

Unfortunately, I discovered this place a bit too late. QiQi was already 6 to 7 months old then and the person-in-charge said Qi was a bit too 'old' to start swimming there due to their tub constraint... so I dropped the idea of letting QiQi swim there.

Fortunately, I chanced upon another website selling these swimming tubs - inflatable one so that it wun take up too much of a space at home.

The whole set of inflatable swimming tub including the float with heat sensor, air pump and hose to drain the water cost $85 nett.

It's deep enough for QiQi to swim in it. Most importantly, I can allow my boy to swim in it as well - right at the comfort of my own home without all the hassle of bringing him all the way to HarbourFront somemore...

So I decided to buy one...

First time swimming in it... must have daddy accompany

So CUTEEEEE...

Curious QiQi...

QiQi started swimming a tad too late. Started crying just few minutes in the tub.
I must make sure my boy starts early.

Can't wait to get out... hehehehe
One advantage of having this tub - Besides allowing my kids to swim in it, I myself can have a warm dip.... wahahahaha.... back aches super badly recently. A warm dip is really shiok lo...

Afterwhich, the water can be re-used for cleaning the toilet - double advantage!!!
