Welcome to "五月天回到地球表面演唱会2008"
So wanted to blog this entry the moment I stepped into my house yesterday (right after
MayDay's concert) cos I was still so in the mood...
HIGH HIGH HIGH lo. Unfortunately, I couldn't cos my QiQi was already asleep. My typing would wake her up.
It is now 10pm. I finally have the chance to upload my
MayDay's concert pics (but my bro here beside me jamming his guitar with his David Tao's songs... confusing me la.. I dunno what Im typing also) *My bro now has David Tao's fever (cos he went to his concert last last Saturday la) whereas his sis here is having serious
MayDay's fever... (oops... where have I put my
'Beyond'?)
On 26 April 2007, Ah Ma came to my house and drive me to the concert with her "BABY"... *Free transport for me* kekekekeke.... so happy!!! Ah May came over to my place to do some scrapbooking (but obviously failed in doing so cos too little time, too much talking...)
We drove to indoor stadium at around 5.10pm and reached around 5.40pm (traffic jam). The moment we drove into the carpark, I saw a booth selling things... Confirmed selling MayDay's merchandise de lo...
After much browsing... I decided to buy the T-shirt which costs S$28. I actually like some other T-shirts better but they cost S$50 and above leh.. very ex... so gave up the idea and bought their concert Tee instead. Also nice la... :p
After purchasing the Tee, we went to dunno what shopping centre for our dinner. KFC!!!! While MayMay went to buy the food, I went to change... wahahaha... buy the Tee liao of cos must wear la.. if not buy for wat right... kekeke..
The night was still young after dinner so Linda and I went to the arcade and had a few games of 'basketball' before heading back to indoor stadium.

Our seats were good. The first row of the second most expensive tickets. In another words, there was no one in front of us except of the barricade that separated us from the most expensive seats... so we had the full, no blockage view la... very good!!!
Finally, the 7 of us (before the show started)
Before the concert started, Maymay and I went to the booth near the East entrance to purchase some blue lightsticks for Linda. BUT.... SOLD OUT la.. No choice.. got to run to North entrance to buy it. Instead of purchasing the lightsticks, Maymay and I saw a booth selling their albums. May din bring her wallet lo... and my wallet only left $32 (only enuf to buy the vcd I want). So Maymay ran all the way back to East to get her wallet and back.
During her absence, I bought the album I wanted and then..... wahahahaha.. saw something lying on the floor................ It's a mousepad with their faces on it!!!! What happened next??!?!?! ................... I TOOK IT LAR... of cos wat... wahahahahaha...
A pic before the start of the show - the almost blue sea. MayDay's fan club requested the fans to bring BLUE lightstick so you can see the whole BLUE sea... But of cos... some ppl trying to be funny la.. bring all sorts of different colours de lightsticks. 
The show started at 8.30pm sharp. Me friends and I got onto our feet, screamed at the top of our voice and swung the lightstick with every strength we had. We are not MayDay's biggest fans la so some of their songs are unheard of (to us la). Luckily they provided lyrics la.. so we could sing with them as well.
Their songs are so nice lo.. especially when they sing it live. Albums de not as power sia. 阿信voice is really good. 够高，够power! Me friends and I practically stood for the whole 3 hours.
*We wanted to sit down and catch a breather during the midst of the show (where MayDay went backstage for the costume change). But two stupid bitches came out of nowhere and stood in front of us. No choice. Got to get back to our feet and fight back our space... kekeke.. Needless to say... we won!!!

It was bassist, Ma Sa's 31st birthday the day before the concert so they held a small 'celebration' for him during the show. Awww.... so sweet!!!

Monster's 'tattoo'. This was the last pic I managed to take during the show... Si Ah Boon la.. still tell me his camera full batt de. Not even halfway through the show, his camera die down on me... Bo bian.. Got to ask Serene to take as many pics as possible le.... :P
At the end of the show, 阿信，怪兽，玛莎 & 石头 wore the same Tee as me la... wahahaha.. Me suddenly got 4 bfs wearing Qing Nu Zhuang with me... kekekekekeke... Tried my luck and on the camera again... Eh.. can still operate leh.. so I faster snapped some pics before it die down on me again.
Boy am I correct... 4 or 5 more shots later, it went completely dead!!!

In summary, MayDay is very good lo. Rock 的就 very rock. Sentimental 的就 very sentimental..wahahaha... a bit 废话 I know but they are really very good. Sad to say.. better than Beyond lo.
In Beyond's concert, it's the fans who made the atmosphere high. But in MayDay's concert, it's them who made the fans high who in turn made the whole atmosphere super high.
I have something to announce people!!!!!! I got a new idol le... and that's 五月天!!!
(Dun be mistaken though. I still love Beyond!)
