This joke was told by Jessie. I find it really funny so sharing it with you guys. I will be using fictional names to protect the identities of the ppl involved (haha..)

Osama and Bush were having dinner in a restaurant. While they were waiting for their dishes to be served, Osama striked a conversation with Bush. Bush replied him without any eye contact cos he was reading a magazine called "VOGUE"

Osama felt offended.

Osama : Oei, you should be looking at me, maintaining eye contact while talking to me. That's basic courtesy. Why are you reading your "VO-GUE"? (Osama pronounced VOGUE, an one syllable word, as VO-GUE [two syllables])

Bush : Osama, this word is not pronounced as VO-GUE. It's VOGUE.

Osama : Why? It is VO-GUE wat.

Bush : Okie. Let me quote you an example. How do you pronounce this? (At this point, Bush pointed to his tongue)

Osama : TONGUE (correct pronounciation)

Bush : Yes, you are right. See.. you don't pronounce that word as TON-GUE right? The 'GUE' is silent.

Osama : Oh I see. Thanks for the lesson. I understand what you mean now.

Thereafter, they had a sumptuous dinner. When the time came for billing, both wanted to pay.

Osama : Come on Bush, let me give me you a treat for teaching me proper English just now. Don't AH with me okie?

Bush : 'AH' with you? What do you mean?

Osama : Ya.. I mean don't ARGUE with me. Like you say, the 'GUE' is silent. So am I not right to pronounce the word as AH???

Bush fainted.

It's been 12 long years since I last cut my hair this short.

I still can't believe I did it. Yes people... I cut my hair. And it's so short until I cannot accept it at the moment.

I endured the heat and smell during my confinement, just to keep the length of my hair... And now, four months after delivery, I cut my hair short. :p

I am so jealous of Liyan.. so very envy lar... jealous plus envy to the power of infinity... haha.. can feel the level of my jealousness? kekeke...

When can I be like her and leave my department for good? When will that day come? I wish I have the answers.

My hopes are now on Michelle le.... kekeke.. Michelle, if you are reading this, do your job huh... kekekeke....

4 months old QiQi drinking milk all by herself... Clever girl la... kekeke

Today is a much anticipated day for the youths of Singapore. Singapore will know if she has beaten Moscow to be the first country to hold the Youth Olympic in 2010.

I told Ah Long that Singapore will win the title but he had his reservations. So, we headed to Padang (cos we were at Funan lar... nearby) to find out.

We reached there not knowing that the results were out. It took us sometime to realise that Singapore had actually won.... haha.. We stood that like fools, listening to Mr Lee Hsien Loong's speech and waiting for the results. It took us a while to realise that people were already enjoying themselves... *faint*

Here comes the funniest part of all. Just as me and Ah Long were about to leave, Ronald McDonald came close to us... I was quite shocked to see him behind me lar.. but took a picture with him anyway... (since he was so close to me)... kekekekeke....

Two days off from going back to office.



Ru, you are right!!! It's really disappointing to see friends you known for years turning cold. One by one, they bid a silent farewell.



I can't commit myself to GOD but can you please pray for me that I can get out of that department as soon as possible??? Hehe... Either pray that I can get the position I apply for or get a job of my wish soonest possible.. Thanks ya!!!

My QiQi came over to Tiong Bahru to stay over these past four days. We had a great time together. Initially, Ah Long & I were afraid that QiQi might not get used to her Tiong Bahru house cos she hasn't been here ever since her first month. But our worries are dispensable.

We did so much visiting and travelling that QiQi did not manage to catch much sleep. By the time she reached home, she was practically burned out. We were burned out too.. haha.. We had to prepare so much before we can step out of our house. When we were back, we had to clean and sterilise all her bottles before we could catch our sleep... Tired sia.. but it was really fulfilling.
