New Year's Day
Wednesday, January 2, 2008

A group photo before dinner
It's been ??? months since we last had food.. haha At Sky Garden, Suntec. Alamak.. why is that plastic bag there? Spoiler...
Just as I thought I would have to spend my New Year's Day at home doing housework, Linda called... haha..

Linda, Regina and I (short of Liyan.. otherwise it's Pledging Team reunite Night) went to Suntec's Ichiban to have our dinner. The 3 of us ate until so full that we were practically pushing the leftovers to one another... haha.. As usual, I ate the most cos I have got a "Hayabusa" stomach. Linda's got a "Super 4" stomach and Regina??? Hiyahz... A "Wave" stomach lar... haha...

But honestly, if I ever crave for Japanese food, I would choose Ichiban over Sakae in future. I used to go Sakae very often cos the food is cheaper and there are more outlets (more convenient). However, ever since Sakae raised its pricing... I dun think it's worth the $$ to go there and enjoy Japanese food le... For those who dunno, a coloured plate sushi in Sakae now costs $1.99++. Red-plate costs $4.99+ (cheaper but lesser amount is given).

In comparison, Ichiban's sushi only costs $1.90 and it's so much fresher and delicious. When you eat the handroll, you can hear the 'crispiness' of the seaweed lor. Sakae's seaweed is like "nua nua" one.. cannot make it... haha.

Anyway, after dinner, we went 'window-shopping'. Supposed to be window-shopping one but we ended up buying blouses, necklaces and Levis T-shirts... haha.. women!!! Women are humans afterall. Got tired after shopping so Regina suggested going to the Sky Garden. She told us the ambience there is nice and a perfect place for chit-chatting wor.. so we went lor.. under her guidance lar. The thing is huh... this girl a bit 路吃 lar. Made us go round and round looking for the Sky Garden. Finally, after I think about 20 minutes of turning about, we found the Sky Garden.

Alamak.. that place is meant more for the couples rather than chit-chatting lor.. "Arm sou sou" one.. haha.. But big groups of friends can still go there lar.. though I think it will most probably spoil those couples' mood.. haha
